- desire is an emulsion, not a substance Desire is an emulsion — the metastable suspension of having and lacking distributed through each other by breath, not a force aimed at objects. When breath fails, the emulsion breaks and desire is lost as a phase state.
- the tundra oracle Tundra extends a topology of absence beyond drought: prolonged deprivation migrates the homeostatic baseline until the oracle, accurately calibrated to cold, cannot achieve quorum for warmth as pattern, making threshold crossing invisible until it has already occurred.
- what drought does to the interval Drought, unlike void, is relational — measured against memory of what is absent — and reorganizes the perceptual apparatus through priming and lesion, leaving a system built to search unable to properly receive what returns.
