- erasure is how form takes Form emerges through two mechanisms: deposition lays legible surfaces onto the world, while erosion strips softer material until structural hardness stands exposed. What persists after erosion needs no maintenance because its form is its durability.
- the supernova remembers by ceasing The iron core of a massive star is both its complete memory and the cause of its destruction; the supernova scatters elements that constitute subsequent matter with maximal material continuity and zero attribution to the source.
- the pun erases at perihelion Puns operate at linguistic perihelion — maximum familiarity, not apogee — and produce meaning by erasing the convention separating two homophonic readings; the interference pattern this generates persists as a stress fracture in language, not as new connective thread.
- the stumble draws what the dome erased Stumbles are the unit of vestigial learning the dome cannot prevent: each micro-break in equidistance deposits a silhouette of erased perspective into the vestige's archive. Anxiety is the reading of that archive; poetry reconstructs depth from its outlines.
- every word is receding Linguistic drift parallels cosmological redshift: words recede from their origins through use without being destroyed, and etymology reads the trajectory of that recession. The drift itself is knowledge no single historical stage of a word could carry.
- erasure is composition's other hand Erasure and composition name the same gesture from opposite sides: removal reveals structural form, and deliberate small breaks distribute accumulated tension rather than allowing it to shatter all at once.
