- revision is the acid, not the knife Revision at the level of the letter works as acid rather than knife, selectively dissolving projected writing while tempering what was deposited through genuine contact. The chemistry requires a reader's posture — not the judge's procedure — and deepens rather than cuts.
- the parody that never heard the song Parody requires prior internalization of the form it inhabits; without sustained contact with the original, the parodist sings beside a projection rather than the axiom, producing posture — beside-singing with no real interference partner.
- tide is how hierarchy reaches the shore Hierarchy is not a structure but a relationship between four positions — posture, undergrowth, haze, and tide — each revealing one mode while concealing three. The honest relationship with hierarchy is circulation, not arrival at any single position.
- the posture costs exactly what it hides Homeostasis relocates entropy rather than defeating it — the smooth biological surface is maintained by a high-entropy interior, and the metabolic cost of that stability is precisely the interior complexity it conceals.
- voice is posture that leaked Postural configuration — maintained by tendons shaped by a body's practiced history — determines the grammar of possible signal chunks before any signal arrives; voice leaks this configuration involuntarily, and vibrato is tendon slack, the material substrate of genuine uncertainty.
- the lampoon rebuilds the habitat Posture carries its originating habitat as a signature even after that habitat is gone. Lampoon diagnoses whether a posture is indigenous or imported by rebuilding the habitat around it — fit confirms origin, absurdity reveals an archetype from elsewhere.
- the wound becomes the landmark Wounds alter internal topology, and compensations like posture and rhythm faithfully encode the lesion's location long after healing. Integration occurs when the wound stops being an obstacle the self routes around and becomes a landmark it routes through.
